Death Dealer commission , part 2

Yesterday I did the further study of the character and tried to explore the possibilities of the chosen pose. I intentionally left out the remaining compositional elements in order to focus on Death Dealer only, and to squeeze out the maximum of the dynamic movement from this relatively static pose. This is the big trick and the most important objective of this composition, and I am not yet done with it.

  3. How are you going to add in the other figures? Sketch over the current pencils? Paint them in? I'm not a painter, so I'm very curious.

  4. I'm a big fan of you work and usually I can't spot ANY mistakes, but in this case there seems to be something wrong, especially his (from my point of view) right lower arm and also his leg. But as you've written, you're not done yet and I'm sure you'll fix it and the final painting will be as awesome as everything else that you do! :D

  5. I'll just say that drawing not need to be mathematically correct, but should be convincing. This is more than convincing, for me! Art is not mathematics, art is a feeling ....
    Go ahead, Petre!
